The Director of New Member Education is also responsible for organizing and planning the chapter's New Member Education program as well as teaching classes educating new members following the guidelines of the New Member and Membership Handbook and the Minnesota Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity's Builder of Men Ritual Affirmation for New Member Education and Initiation. He shall also organize and oversee all activities of Builder of Men Week and Formal Initiation, as well as serve as vice-chair of the chapter's Recruitment Council. |

The Director of Administration is responsible for the chapter's calendar of events, parking and room assignments, shall attend all meetings of the Minnesota FarmHouse Association and shall serve as a member of the Minnesota FarmHouse Foundation. |

I am also in charge of notifications to newspapers about events that FarmHouse has participated in and I am the editor of the Bi-annual Alumni Forum, Parents Newsletter, and Green and Gold Update. |

He shall be responsible for house security, shall maintain and implement the chapter's risk management policies and educate the chapter and new members about it, shall plan a Risk Management Presentation and Hazing Presentation to be delivered to the chapter. the Director of House Maintenance and Risk Management shall also inform the Association of the needs of the chapter, advise the chapter with regard to potential improvements, make purchases for house operations as he sees fit and shall keep and inventory of all house tools and be responsible for them. |

He shall also obtain mid-term and semester grades of all members, shall work with the Vice President of Recruitment to obtain the grades of prospective members, shall inform the chapter of scholarship and grant opportunities, shall be a member of the chapter's scholarship committee, shall be responsible for distribution of internal FarmHouse scholarships through appropriate channels, and shall help any member or prospective member having difficulty with studies, and shall plan events that honor academic success such as Academic Night. |

 Julie Tesch View Bio | | House Advisor | jtesch@umn.edu | | Julie Tesch is Executive Director of the Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC), a legislative council created to improve agricultural education across the state. She works closely with legislators, state departments and teachers to implement innovative and effective programs related to agricultural education. She is also a instructor at the University of Minnesota. This is Julie's first time as an Advisor for FarmHouse.
